Insulation Repair Assistance Program

At Soundseals Insulation, we believe every homeowner deserves a safe, warm, and energy-efficient home. Unfortunately, we frequently meet homeowners who have been left frustrated after hiring unlicensed or uninsured contractors. These situations often result in:

• Poorly installed insulation that fails to perform
   

• Contractors abandoning projects midway and disappearing with payment
   

• Homeowners left with costly repairs and no accountability
   

To address this problem, we created the Insulation Repair Assistance Program a community initiative designed to help homeowners recover from failed insulation jobs while educating the public on the importance of hiring certified, licensed, and insured professionals.

Program Purpose

Insulation Repair Assistance Program is designed to:

1. Support homeowners who have experienced poor workmanship from unqualified contractors.
    

2. Provide affordable corrective solutions by offering repairs at cost only (labour and materials).
    

3. Educate the community about safe hiring practices to avoid repeat situations.
    

4. Showcase real homeowner experiences to raise awareness and prevent future insulation nightmares.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Reside within Soundseals Insulation’s service area.
   

• Be the legal homeowner of the property requiring repairs.
   

• Provide reasonable proof of the failed insulation job (photos, receipts, contractor name, etc.).
   

• Consent to allow Soundseals Insulation to document their project and share their story and photos for educational and promotional purposes.

What’s Covered

• Repairs to insulation jobs that were installed incorrectly by a third party.
   

• Work performed will be at a discounted rate.
   

• Professional, certified, and insured installation to ensure the issue is permanently corrected.
   

Note: Structural repairs outside of insulation work (e.g., framing, roofing, drywall replacement) are not included in the program.

Application & Selection Process

1. Complete and submit the Insulation Repair Assistance Program Application Form.
    

2. Our team will review the application and contact you to discuss your situation.
    

3. Projects will be selected based on eligibility, severity of the problem, and our scheduling capacity.
    

4. Approved applicants will receive a detailed scope of work and estimated costs before repairs begin.

Homeowner Agreement

By applying, homeowners agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information.
   

• Allow Soundseals Insulation to share their story and before/after photos as part of our educational outreach.
   

• Cover the agreed-upon material and labour costs.

Commitment to the Community

Soundseals Insulation does not profit from this program. Our only goal is to do it right for homeowners while protecting others from falling victim to unqualified contractors.
